Hello and welcome to my miniature world! Above are the characters in Rumie Goes Rafting, my new picture book. It’s a story about creativity, adventure and learning a little patience, told with photo-illustrations and set in a natural forest by an idyllic stream.
Rumie and Uncle Hawthorne are a busy pair of animals! While I chase them for photos, updates here may be sporadic. You can follow my journey on Instagram for more peaks into the process of making Rumie Goes Rafting and also book two, which I’m working on now. The next Rumie story is set in winter, and includes the making of four new interior sets, many props, and the challenge of shooting in snow… brrr!
